Food Packs Support

 

Since 2017, Grape King Bio has been cooperating with the Andrew Charity Association with regular donations of food supplies. As of the end of 2022, the company has donated 2,900 crates of supplies and benefiting 2,900 families, reaching out to 11,600 people in total.

Winter and Summer Vacation Food Vouchers

 

Since 2018 Grape King Bio has been cooperating with World Peace Association to provide donations and vouchers to support meal services for impoverished children in winter and summer vacations when schools are not open.

Medical and Care Assistance

Grape King Bio provides medical assistance to impoverished patients via the Hui-Chung Foundation, helping the disadvantaged in Taipei Veterans General Hospital (Taitung Branch) to afford medical the costs and obtain the medical assistance they require. The company also supports the “Timely Aid” project of the Taiwan Association of Family Caregivers, which helped to identify high-risk family caregivers and help them gain access to resources such as medical, financial and long-term care aid, providing the ”supportive services for family caregivers.”。

Remote hometown and study companion

Reindeer Around the Island

 

Since 2016, Grape King Bio has initiated the “Reindeer Around the Island” project, collecting and filling shoeboxes with Christmas gift to assist schoolchildren in remote disadvantaged schools. This project helps promote moral education, spreading warmth and joy. In addition, the company also subsidizes facilities needed by remote schools to make up for material shortages. As of the end of 2022, the company donated 612 Christmas shoeboxes, and supported 18 remote schools to purchase facilities and equipment.

Event and Wishlists for Disadvantaged Schoolchildren

 

Whilst providing support for local schoolchildren, Grape King Bio discovered that families of the most disadvantaged schoolchildren were unable to afford school fees, as well as other basic needs that ordinary children would take for granted. Since 2014, the company then started to host the “Little Grape’s Day” series of events to allow schoolchildren to experience other possibilities in life, reinforcing their confidence and cultivating gratitude as well as empathy. These events also helped to stimulate positive emotional interaction between parents and children and inspiring their hope for the future. Grape King Bio also organized the “Wishlist” events since 2016, fulfilling the wishes of the disadvantaged children to support their hopes for the future and supply inadequacies in their daily lives. As of the end of 2022, the total service count of the two projects was 582.

Children’s home and nurseries

 

Since 2015, Grape King Bio has been working with Ti-Hwei Children's Home focusing on the experience education for its students and the organization of holiday experience camps. Our employees have been volunteering their time for nursery activities with the children every year. Furthermore, since some of the children face imminent issues in career choices, two professional experience-sharing sessions with the company volunteers are arranged annually, helping the children learn more about various professions.
