Sustainability and Local Procurement

Grape King Bio prioritizes suppliers who are committed to developing the procurement of green products, emphasizing food safety and environmental protection, and protecting labor human rights, listing them as priority sources for procurement. At the same time, in consideration of transportation costs and environmental issues, we try our best to purchase from domestic suppliers to reduce the environmental impact of transportation processes, which also supports the development of Taiwan's upstream raw materials industry. When evaluating the equipment to be purchased, we will also fill out the major energy-using equipment evaluation forms for each machine to confirm the type of energy used and its energy consumption.

About Zero Supply Disruption

Grape King Bio’s Four Major Strategies for Zero Supply Chain Disruptions:

  • Listing Delivery Period and Production Areas

In case of lockdowns, factory shutdowns, traffic disruptions, and other issues around the world, we will constantly examine all situations and tackle them accordingly.

  • Advanced Procurement Deployment

For those who were placed with purchase orders, the delivery date shall be in advance; the demand period shall be lengthened and orders will be placed six months to a year in advance.

  • Search for Diversified Solutions Alternative Sources

For those original factories that are shut down, we shall develop local alternative production. For those original who have lost contact with the factories, we shall look for substitutes in areas without the pandemic.

  • Diversified
    Solutions

When suppliers refuse to accept long-term orders, we shall pay a deposit in advance to reserve the source of goods, book cargo in advance for sea freight, or change it to air freight import if necessary.
