Grape King Bio reviews all business processes at the highest standards, remains alert to the latest regulatory developments, committed to strengthening employee regulatory compliance awareness and effectiveness and maintaining our corporate image to reduce the risk of unlawful corporate practice.

All Grape King Bio’s matters related to legal documents are processed by the Legal Department. The Legal Department enforces applicable regulations based on current and updated govement regulations. They perform self-assessments for implementation, provide education and training, and establishe audit and verification programs for other departments. We actively implement our Ethical Conduct Guidelines as the employee contract that is signed when recruited contains clauses on ethical behavior, prevention of corruption, and prohibition of actions detrimental to the company, which are repeated in the letters of resignation. In addition to the labor contract, the company also prepares a seprate trade secret contract, which is signed by all employees to ensure all employees understand the importance of trade secrects.

Ingredient labels are reviewed through the cross-departmental communication of the biological laboratory, Legal Department, Marketing Planning Section, and Product Planning Section for labeling errors and violations of food laws, striving for improvements with zero violation as the goal.

 
Before the application

The applying unit shall request search analysis and advice from the Legal Department.

After the application

With the introduction of the electronic application system, Taiwanese ingredient labels can be applied, paid, corrected, and received by the Legal Department itself, reducing service fees from firms.

 

For intellectual property rights, the Legal Department routinely conducts search, analysis, defense, registration application, maintenance management, and strategic deployment of trademarks and patents domestically and internationally. The Legal Department also regularly conducts internal business confidentiality promotion meetings and proactively performs confidentiality measure surveys for each department. Externally, the Legal Department requests business and marketing personnel to provide sources for images when submitting copies for review to avoid violation of copyright and portrait rights. For the protection of personal information and privacy rights, the company has enacted and published the Personal Information Protection Policy and has used EIP for promotion to all employees. In addition, the privacy policies of the official company website, the Grape King Health and Vitality Power Center’s website, and the Grape King Eshop’s website. Currently, privacy policy question categories have been added to the Contact Us page on the company website to resolve customers’ or webpage users’ concerns promptly.

For documents issued by competent authorities in health administration, the Legal Department shall first assess whether appeals or improvement measures are required, then notify relevant departments. If the competent authorities require in-person reports, the Legal Department staff shall accompany the reporting colleague. For other documents related to regulations, the corresponding departments shall determine if complaints are needed to be filed via the Legal Department. Various matters shall be discussed in management meetings for the follow-up improvement processes, which are each compiled into a closure report.
