SDG14 Conservation of Marine Life, Rescue of Marine Wildlife

In the north of Taiwan, there is no temporary rescue station for marine wildlife that has stranded on shore. This often leads to a loss of the best time for emergency care. Therefore, the "Taiwan Cetacean Society" has launched a plan to establish a "Marine Wildlife Medical Rehabilitation Station" in the north to address the lack of marine wildlife medical resources in the north. In response to this, Grape King Bio has donated funds to the "Taiwan Cetacean Society".
In addition to providing immediate rescue and rehabilitation services for stranded cetaceans and turtles, the donation will also help the station to build holding pools, medical rooms, and autopsy analysis rooms. These will create opportunities to train more cetacean and turtle veterinarians, and improve the quality of marine medical care in the north. In addition the rescue center will also establish an ocean classroom to allow more members of the public and students to visit and learn about marine conservation and marine wildlife stranding rescue.
